Probably the most kept extant species found in the United States
except for maybe the red eared slider which is the turtle most sold in pet shops
This particular turtle was captive hatched by a friend of mine and his wife, Earl & Anna Turner. This little guy is about the size of a silver dollar. He is approaching 6 months of age.
